Bread Pockets


15 sliced bread 

1 small cup diced carrots

1 small cup diced green beans 

3 diced red bell peppers

1 diced green pepper

1 handful of chopped spring onion 

3 diced onions

3 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp each of Asmie's kitchen spices (curry, ground ginger, ground garlic, secret of cooking)

1 tsp ginger and garlic paste



Heat the olive oil in a pan. Add the ginger and garlic paste. Stir fry for 2 mins. Add the diced bell peppers, green pepper, onions and fry for 5 mins. Add ketchup and  the other diced vegetables with seasonings and spices. Fry for some mins. Add the chopped spring onion and fry for few minutes. Remove from the heat and set aside.

   Cut the edges of the bread. Roll flat with a rolling pin. Add spoonful of the fried veggies. Rub little water at the edges of the sliced bread. Fold as it is in the picture. Fry in hot oil till golden brown. Pack and drain. 

  Serve with ketchup or tomato sauce.
