Vegetable Manchurian (Indo Chinese Cuisine)


1/4 (chopped) cabbage 

5 grated carrots 

1 diced onion

5-6 diced bell peppers 

1 diced green pepper 

1/4 small cup flour 

1 tbsp corn flour 


1 tbsp soy sauce

Pinch dried basil leaves 

1 tsp garam masala 

1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste 

1 tsp Asmie's kitchen secret of cooking spice

1 bottle oil 


Mix chopped cabbage, shredded carrots, flour, corn flour, salt, ground pepper and little water in a mixing bowl. Mix and mould into balls. Arrange in a tray and set aside. 

   Heat the oil in a pan and fry the balls till golden brown. Pack and drain. Leave little oil like 3 tbsp in the pan and fry the ginger and garlic paste for few seconds. Add the green pepper, bell peppers and onions. Add seasonings and spices. Fry for 5 minutes. Add some water to cover the veggies. Cover and bring to a boil. Add the balls in the pan. Allow to cook for 3-4 minutes. Flip the other side of the balls. Allow to simmer for some minutes. 

   Serve warm and enjoy!
