Chocolate Cupcakes are delicious cakes that melts in the mouth. Prepared with flour, eggs, baking powder, shortening, cocoa, etc.
3 small peak milk tins of flour
1/2 small peak milk tin of cocoa
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 small rubber of shortening
1 tbsp vanilla flavour
1/2 tsp salt
1 small cup of granulated sugar
Cream the shortening and sugar till pale. Add the eggs, one after the other stirring till well mixed. Mix the flour, salt, baking powder and gradually add it into the bowl of shortening -sugar little at a time, stirring. Finally add the cocoa, vanilla and stir well. It should be of dropping consistency.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Chocolate Frosting :
2/3 cup cocoa
2/3 cup of icing sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
Whisk the egg white till frothy. Add the vanilla flavour and whisk. Mix the icing sugar and the cocoa powder. Add little at a time stirring till well mixed. Pour in a piping bag with nozzle and decorate.
