Chips & Fried Eggs

Inredients:

1 small bowl potatoes

1 tsp salt

1/2 bottle of oil for frying

 Method

Peel the potatoes, cut and put in clean water. Strain and sprinkle the salt,toss well. Heat the oil in a pan and fry in hot oil till golden brown. Srain on a serviette to reduce the oil.

 

For the Eggs:

4 eggs

2 tbsp grated bell peppers & onions

1 chopped onion

1/2 tsp chilli seasoning

A pinch of seasoned salt

1 stock cube

2 tbsp oil for frying the eggs

Method

Samosa (Kneading Method)

Samosa is an Asian Snack. It is loved and prepared by many people. The major ingredients are flour and minced beef. It can be served a lone or with a tomato soup. I am a fan of Samosa and never get tired of preparing it. 

Ingredients:

2 peak milk tins of flour

1 tsp salt

Filling:

1/4 kg minced beef

4 diced bell peppers

1 diced green pepper

1 diced onion

1 tbsp thyme

1 garlic paste

1 ginger paste

Salt to taste

2 stock cubes

4-5 tbsp oil

  Method

Grilled Sandwich With Caramelized Onion

Grilled Sandwich With Caramelized Onion is simple yet delicious. It's a quick fix. Best for breakfast. Prepared with sliced bread and vegetables.

Ingredients :

6 sliced bread 

1 large plump sliced tomatoes 

1 diced onion 

1/2 thinly sliced cucumber 

Butter for spreading 

Pinch salt 

1/2 tsp sugar 

1 tbsp olive oil 

  Method 

Heat the olive oil in a pan. Add the diced onion, season with salt. Add the sugar and stir fry till golden brown. But not burnt. Remove from the fire and set aside. 

French Toast Sticks

French Toast is a delicious and quick snack. Prepared within a short period of time. With sliced bread, eggs and vegetables. Best for breakfast. It can be served with ketchup or honey. 

Ingredients:

8 sliced bread 

5 eggs 

2 stock cubes 

1 chopped onion 

1/2 handful of chopped spring onion 

1 chopped bell pepper

1 tsp white pepper

   Method

Cut the sliced bread into strips. Break the eggs and whisk. Add the chopped onion, spring onions, bell peppers, seasoning and spice. Whisk again.

Garlic Knots

Ingredients:

1 1/2 small cups flour 

2 tsp yeast

1 tsp salt 

1 tsp sugar

1/4 small cup warm water

3 garlic cloves (peeled and chopped)

Some salt 

1/2 small cup chopped parsley 

2-3 tbsp butter 

Method 

Soak the yeast in warm water and allow to dissolve for 5 minutes.

Mini Veggies Stromboli

Ingredients:

2 1/2 small cups flour 

1 tsp baking powder 

Salt

Filling:

1/4 chopped cabbage 

5 chopped carrots 

Chopped green beans 

3 chopped bell peppers 

1 chopped green pepper 

1 large chopped onion 

1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste 

1/2 tsp White pepper 

1/2 tsp basil powder

1 tsp curry  

Salt to taste 

3 tbsp oil

Ingredients:

10 sliced bread 

5 diced carrots 

Pieces of diced green beans 

1 large diced onion 

2 diced bell peppers 

1 handful of chopped coriander leaves 

1/2 tsp each of Asmie's Kitchen spices: secret of cooking, curry, mixed spices

1 tsp oregano (a Spice) 

1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste 

1 egg

3 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp butter 

3 tbsp tomato sauce 

1 tbsp chilli sauce

 salt

1/2 tsp ground black pepper 

 

   Method 

Steam Dimsum / Steamed Vegetable Dumpling and Pies

    Ingredients:

2 small cups flour 

1 tsp salt 

Filling:

1/2 small cabbage (shredded) 

1 small cup raw tofu (mashed)

1 onion (chopped)

1 bouillon cube

Salt to taste

2 tsp olive oil

    Method

Pour the flour in a mixing bowl, add salt and mix well. Add some water and knead to form a soft dough. Rub little oil in the hands and knead again. Cover and allow to rest.
